Thank you such a comprehensive information about the Seghal method which I am now starting to study. It is being used here in Slovakia by some homeopaths and with very good results.
Dr. Yogesh Sehgal himself is a member of this forum.

Jan Calvert said… - Hi Irene, sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you! I've been away most of the summer and had lent out several of the books to a local doula to read while I was away. As a fourth year student I was lucky to be able to work with a local midwife and organise a research study with 19 women from the south Leeds area who used a kit of 10 remedies I put together during their birth. Afterwards they completed a questionaire and semi-structured interview. This was great experience for me and I learnt a lot about the remedies and the realities of the various birth contexts that women often 'find themselves' in. I've also been lucky enough to attend several births - some as support for family members and some as a prescribing homeopath and there is nothing like experiencing the real thing! I would definately recommend Miranda Castro's Pregnancy and Birth book also Richard Moskowitz's Homeopathic Medicines for Pregnancy and Childbirth, Peter Webb's Homeopathy for Midwives and I carry the Accoucheur's Emergency Manual plus Murphy's repertory.
