Colocynthis, Staphisagria and Causticum are in-fact one remedy. If a woman comes in school and sees that her daughter is treated unfairly annoys her about it and gets cramping abdominal pain, that is Colocynthis or when someone as a child was very sensitive and was not accepted by the mother and was ill treated, with bedwetting, black teeth and so on, that is Staphisagria. It is the first remedy in pain from amputation. Also think of Staphisagria in case of inflammation of the bladder after injury of the urethra due to catheterization. Staphisagria are very proud people and when they are suppressed or hit by somebody there is an internal anger. They don’t show this anger, it remains inside and then they develop cancer and things like that. If someone has come for psoriasis and have black teeth, you can give Staphisagria. But later when they are taller and stronger, they go out and start fighting then they develop to Causticum.
In Causticum children from birth on, you see a kind of paralysis on the right side, the upper lid is a little bit lower and there is a kind of disproportion of the face, besides, often they are left handed. In general the right side of these children is not so well developed. It is a long-standing grief that causes paralysis in Causticum while it is a long-standing disappointment that causes paralysis in Alumina.
