Management of acute fevers - A real challenge

(Article published in HomeoBuzz, published by http://www.bjain.com/)

Introduction:

A rise in the body temperature above the normal level is considered as fever. Fever is not a disease but a clinical manifestation seen in many diseases and conditions. In other words, it is a reaction of the body towards some external agents or stimuli. For a remedial diagnosis, Homoeopathy gives more importance… Continue

NHS in UK still supports Homoeopathy

Most of the news papers say that NHS in UK has decided to stop funding Homeopathy. But the actual fact is, a committee that includes some skeptics has suggested the government to stop funding Homoeopathy.

(Article published in the souvenir released during the Homeopathic seminar by Dr Amarsinha D Nikam, hosted by The Hahnemann Study Circle, Alapuzha, Kerala )

An overview of Depression

(Article published in HomeoBuzz, Feb. 2010)

Introduction
It is very easy to diagnose AIDS, Cancer, Tuberculosis or any such diseases by correlating the clinical findings with the investigation reports. On the other hand, diagnosing a psychiatric case is not that easy. Hence, most of the psychiatric patients are either wrongly diagnosed or over-diagnosed as “madness”. A person with a history of major soma… Continue

Welcome Dr Mohammed - I note that you are based in Ernakulum, Kerala - I was there around 3 yrs ago, touring Kerala after 3 weeks of Homeopathy in Calcutta with 7 colleagues from the UK, where we were living until January of this year!
We then spent a week at an Orphanage in Bihar state treating 40 children based there, which was wonderful; we also got to hear the Dali Lama speak in the Temple Gardens which was a very special time. We then went on for travel & holiday to the Tamil Nadu *& climbed the Makurti Pike (2nd highest mtn in the Tamil I believe? Stunning views after a 3-4 hr climb!) We had a wonderful meal that evening with our guides family; he has kept in touch which is good to hear his news.
Since then I have been back once to India & would love to see more of the people & places in your Country
Will be good to get to know you & share our Homeopathic experiences. This Homeopathic World Community is a marvelous way to spread the word & exchange ideas. With very best wishes
