Creating Waves of Awareness

Dear members

Chris Gillen  made me aware of the following which I want to pass on:

A German practitioner, Klaus Giek, has generously photocopied and scanned the entire 1905 BB repertory (from a copy held at the R. Bosch Institute) and made it freely available to download in 5 pdf. files. The files are located at the bottom of this webpage.

I'm not an HWC member, but you may like to pass on the link for those interested in making comparisons, since the 1905 edition as you know, is out of print.

Regards,

Chris Gillen

Hans,
Do you think that this repertory is reliable and is exclusively based on proved data.someone said it is bogus.

Hi Sajjad

I compared the entries with Boenninghausen SRH, TT and the regional repertories and found less than 1% mistakes.
So it reflects accurately Boenninghausen's work, but does not make any refference in how far boenninghausen's own sources are reliable.
Your source may relate to BB2 (1937) which is bogus and unreliable.

All the softwares available are loaded with BB2[1937}.I am sorry to say they are misguiding.

Dear sajjadakram

That's what I suspected for quite some time, that the BB1 simply was never added to the computer programs.

I have it in a print-out and bound in 4 volumes for the past 10 years. I don't use a computer program for repertorisation, -- I do it all by hand. And in some way through 20 years of doing it that way have gained a fairly comprehensive knowledge of the remedies contained in the frequently used rubrics.

It may look time consuming , but in the long run it's much faster than any computer program, as while the case evolves, the rubrics already are run against each other in the brain, so once the case-taking is over, the remedy in more than 90% is clear.

Having this kind of knowledge also shortens the case taking significantly, because after the main complaint is clear I already have it down to a small number of remedies in my head. Then specifically the differentiating factors between competing remedies can be asked for.

My success rate lies well above 90% of cases where i get improvement with the first remedy within a few hours (in acutes) and within 2 - 3 days in chronic situations.

This makes remedy selection a piece of cake in most of the cases.

I believe that was George Dimitriadis, you are referring to .
He wrote an article; BOGUS’ BÖNNINGHAUSEN The fundamental flaw in ‘Boger’s Bönninghausen’
you can find a PDF version on the Internet
