AN ONGOING NARRATION OF THE MISSION TO HAITI
Here i shall keep everyone posted about the developments on the ground in my mission to help Bumisehat serve the population of Haiti. It shall contain depictions of patterns in disease states, a case here and there and a description of the surroundings the location and the events, with photos and video taken at the scene.
The Response
The response to the death, destruction and devastation in Haiti as depicted below and my plea for assistance to help these people is very heartening to see. My personal involvement makes it an extra uplifting experience, because here we have a chance as a community to show what we as homoeopaths are actually worth.
We have the chance to redeem these people from centuries of oppression and exploitation. These terrible events were all in the name of resources, about which you can read more on other threads in this Group. We need not stop there and must put our actions where our mouth is.
This thread is about putting the action where the mouth is.
Let us show as a community how WE respond to the cry of help!

With the food and water we need, we shall have at least a metric ton. 1000kg.
We will see how long that lasts.....

All photos from
Huffington PostYou Warm the HeartLet me first say that i am heartened by the help that the community here on HWC has extended so far. Amazing solidarity from the leaders here.
First I must mention
Debby Bruck, whose generosity of making this site available exceeds everything we could expect.
Gina Tyler, whose unrelenting drive to help has generated a large amount of remedies, efforts at establishing communications with Bumisehat and useful contacts with the filmcrew, whom I have informed about my plans to come and help out.
Goals:
• Establishing the whereabouts of survivors who have not yet obtained help with medical assistance.
• Place our camp strategically to best serve the survivors.
• Networking the NGOs who have food and water supplies, with the fragments of communities who need it.
• Determining what medicines are lacking: "homeopathic medicines", herbs, etc.
• Following through to make sure that the distribution of medicine is ongoing and sustained.
Miro Posavec, who owns BestMade Homeoapthics. (
www.bestmade.us) and has donated 30 First Aid kits, all liquid and i hope to get 20 kg pellets/globuli through him and some empty bottles, equal to the amount of remedies in a kit.
Edouard Broussalian, who wants to come down to help for the first week. When chaos needs to come to order, the colleagues are there. He brings his expertise and know-how to a place most in need and we look forward to meeting him.
John Board, equipped with Canadian media contacts to get the crews programs on Canadian TV is assisting us from home. His drive and energy to help out is laudable. He is 75 and wants to actively help. (Where are the youngsters?) He also organises generators. Sends remedies, globuli and alcohol.
Robert Bruck, for his offer to collect for this work at the 30.000-student university where he works. If each would give but $1, this would be a nice support for supplies and most importantly, WATER.
Oxfam for providing communications and water
. This lightens the burden and enables constant communication with the outside world. It will enable me to send videos and running commentary. Every day we shall send you one positive case at least. Weekly updates on progress and a blog about case-taking, pattern recognition and keynote prescribing.
SOSsavethechildren for support in our mission on Haiti. They can provide us with logistics help and other important tasks such as taking care of children and giving them more than we can provide in cases of need.
Dr Wequar, whose efforts have brought us in contact with bahamashabitat, whom I shall approach in person about transport to Jacmel. He has been a tremendous help as well, notwithstading his own advanced age.
And to
his son, who has allowed the storage of Gina's remedies till i show up, which should be by next weekend. As soon as we know the defintive place for the storage which is forthcoming, we shall collect the goods and store all centrally.
Doc Quack, a friend of mine who shall remain known only as that, sorted out all the different means of getting there and gave us valuable links and hints to get relief in and people out. He is not a member here and feels as much part of the community.
Steve Zuckerman who spoke with Bob Gordon who runs American Health Organization, he's got a warehouse in Boca Raton that can be utilized. He is a resourceful man who has already put things in motion.
Last but certainly not least,
all those of you who have already provided me financially, to enable things to be set in motion.
