Haiti Disaster Relief

This is the place to pledge your voluntary help, ideas and other info you may have for disaster relief for Haiti.

EXPERIENCE IN EPIDEMIC DISEASE & DISASTER RELIEF NEEDED

If you are a homoeopath who has experience in epidemics, disaters and mass prophylaxis, we like you to join us either to go there or to offer your expert advise.

DONATIONS AND COOPERATION

If you know of individuals, organisations or businesses that can help, donate materials or other wise, this is the place to post the relevant information. If we all put our heads and hands together, we can make a difference.

HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES & OTHER GOODS NEEDED

I am of a mind to ask B&T in SanDiego to donate the necessary remedies. Is there an Army Surplus store somewhere? Let them donate the tents, etc. A bandage factory - Bayer perhaps? Let them do something good for a change. There are so many things needed. And we should have someone who can talk to the US government, so they will let us in. I am trying to get a team together with experienced homoeopaths, who have worked in epidemics and disaster relief before. Like our Indian colleagues, who are used to them and to floods, landslides etc.

TRAVEL AND EXPENSES

Each volunteer planning to go on this missionary work will have to do local fundraising within his or her community to send them on location. I believe those going will arrive in the Dominica and then go by land to Haiti.

ESTABLISHING A CLINIC

There is an idea to not only go to Haiti for this relief effort alone, but to establish a permanent homeopathic clinic. First things first, we must assist those in immediate need with emergency medicine for broken bones, bruises, concussion, open wounds, emotional trauma, and epidemic disease. We are in the process of writing up the appropriate remedies needed. We will need to have healthy, strong, qualified people trained in dealing with these circumstances.
