The Homeopathic Preparation Nervoheel N can Offer an Alternative to Lorazepam Therapy for Mild Nervous Disorders

Hi Guys,
I am not too sure if this research paper from eCAM has been listed here on HWC.  Apologies if I am slow on the uptake, but I have had a quick look but I may not be seeing!!!.  Below is the web address and I have also attached the study as a document.

Classical homeopaths dO NOT USE these combination remedies
Nervoheel Composition;
Acid Phos
Kali Brom
Zinc V
Strych Ign
Hi Gina,
Yes I agree, Classical Homeopaths do not use combination remedies, I personally do not use combination remedies but I do know homeopaths that do. The British Homeopathic Society have listed on their website many combination homeopathic formulas under the heading "Clinical research evidence in favour of homeopathy". And considering the battering Homeopathy is taking at the moment, I feel that any positive review regarding homeopathy especially from an international, peer-reviewed journal such as eCAM can't be all bad.
Adios

Hi Gina,
Sorry, meant to type British Homeopathic Association not Society - I should be asleep it is almost 2.00 am.
Night, God Bless
Laura
What is preparation D4 ?
Acidum phosphoricum D4 (phosporic acid)
Kalium bromatum D4 (potassium bromide)
Zincum valerianicum D4 (valerinate of zinc)
Strychnos ignatii D4 (St. Ignatius’ Beans)
Sepia officinalis D4 (cuttlefish extract)
Hi Debby

a low potency invention: D-potencies.
Instead of going 1 to 100 parts like the C-potency, the D-potency only goes 1 to 10 parts.
It's for the skeptics.
Hi Hans,
The British Homeopathic Association have a couple of D-potency systematic reviews listed under "Clinical research evidence in favour of homeopathy"
- Muscle soreness - Tveiten D, Bruseth S, Borchgrevink CF, Norseth J. Effects of the homoeopathic remedy Arnica D30 on marathon runners: a randomized, double-blind study during the 1995 Oslo Marathon. Complementary Therapies in Medicine 1998; 6: 71–74.
- Obesity - Werk W, Lehmann M, Galland F. Comparative controlled trial on the effect of the homeopathic botanical medicinal product Helianthus tuberosus D1 as an adjuvant in the treatment of obesity. Therapiewoche 1994; 44: 34–39.
As I replied to Gina's warning on using combination formulas: considering the battering Homeopathy is taking at the moment, I feel that any positive review regarding homeopathy especially from an international, peer-reviewed journal such as eCAM can't be all bad.
Best regards
Laura
Hans, Are D potency equivalent to X scale potency?
